Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Frisco, TX seeks a Manager of Medical Staff Services to oversee credentialing and privileging for physicians and allied health professionals. This role ensures compliance with bylaws, rules, and medical staff policies while serving as the main liaison between Medical Staff and Administration.

The position requires strong experience in credentialing, knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards, and the ability to develop budgets and lead a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• 5 years of experience in medical services or credentialing-related roles.
• CPCS or CPMSM certification required within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct coordination with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Staff Officers, Department Chairs and Medical Executive Committee.
• Maintain accurate, verifiable credentialing information for physicians and allied health professionals.
• Maintain bylaws, Rules and Regulations, medical staff policies and privilege cards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal agencies related to Medical Staff Services.
• Develop and manage the department budget and operate within Baylor Scott & White Health.
• Recruit and retain staff to support department functions.
• Maintain a long-range plan aligned with system goals.
