Regional One Health seeks a Lead Medical Social Worker to oversee medical social work services, psychosocial assessment, and counseling for patients and families in collaboration with physicians and the health care team.

The role may rotate across all Case Management stations. It includes staff training, mentorship for new hires, and driving performance improvements through the A3 process, while adapting to patient volume and department needs.

Formación

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
• Qualified to work with adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient populations as specialty assignment dictates.
• At least 2 years of social work experience preferred in healthcare settings such as acute care hospital, ambulatory care or managed care.

Responsabilidades

• Leads and delegates daily shift briefings, shift change procedures, and daily posting of metrics and issues.
• Monitors workflow and initiates staffing reassignments to manage fluctuating volumes.
• Ensures 6S activities are conducted by the team and coordinates schedules for coverage.
• Provides feedback to departmental management on team performance and productivity.
• Develops staff training tools and educates team members; mentors new hires.
• Adheres to HIPAA guidelines to protect PHI.
