Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the CNS area to engage local healthcare providers, patient groups and Key Influencers. You will deliver clinical, economic and real-world evidence to support product use and ecosystem-level strategies.

The role covers multiple CNS products, develops regional medical plans, and shares insights to inform trial design, payer discussions and medical education. Travel up to 70% is expected in this field-based position.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master’s with CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical medical affairs or related work.
• Understanding health systems and patient care delivery.
• Strong business acumen and industry knowledge.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; cross-functional work.
• Ability to lead teams and strategic initiatives.
• Clear summarization of complex information for stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory/compliance landscape.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, transforming environments.
• Behaviors aligned with corporate values and travel up to 70%.
• Preferred living location in a key city within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical, scientific and health economic information for CNS products.
• Engage with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, providers, and patient groups.
• Contribute to region business strategy and ecosystem execution plans.
• Serve as a credible expert across multiple products within CNS territory.
• Coordinate field activities and share medical insights for decision making.
• Support clinical trials and health economic outcomes research when needed.
• Mentor peers and support safety/pharmacovigilance and training activities.
