Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) focused on CNS to support ecosystem-based customer engagement.

The MSL provides clinical, scientific and health economic information about CNS disease states and uses Otsuka products within the ecosystem to improve patient care. The MSL will build relationships with Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders, healthcare providers and patient groups, contribute to regional medical strategies, train speakers, assist with

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences is required.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs, CNS preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; professional maturity and cross-functional work.
• Strong business acumen and ability to identify solutions for improved patient outcomes.
• Ability to lead projects and summarize complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans.
• Build relationships with scientific/medical stakeholders within territory.
• Maintain deep understanding of ecosystem alignment with patient-centric strategy.
• Provide evidence-based information on clinical, economic, and humanistic aspects of products.
• Foster internal collaboration across matrix teams and Field Medical leadership.
• Disseminate disease state and ecosystem information to customers.
• Provide clinical and data-focused training to promotional/disease-state speakers.
• Participate in speaker bureau and support educational needs.
• Collect insights to drive evidence generation and healthcare solutions.
• Assist with clinical trials program and health economics studies.
• Mentor peers and support safety/pharmacovigilance discussions.
