Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the CNS portfolio. The role focuses on providing clinical, scientific and health economic information to healthcare professionals and patient groups within the ecosystem.

The MSL will engage Key Influencers and Local Practice Leaders, collaborate with ecosystem partners, and contribute to regional medical strategies while advancing patient care and outcomes. Travel up to 70% may be required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master's degree with equivalent psychiatry or CNS clinical experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; exhibits professional maturity, confidence, and competence.
• Strong conflict resolution skills; proven ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute a clinical and scientific perspective to local execution plans addressing customer challenges and opportunities.
• Build and maintain external relationships with key scientific and medical customers within territory.
• Provide evidence-based medical insights to influence decision making and prioritization of research efforts.
• Support clinical trials activities, safety, and medical education programs as needed.
