Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for CNS to join the ecosystem team.

You will provide evidence-based clinical and health economic information to healthcare professionals, patient groups and key influencers within the local ecosystem to improve patient outcomes. The role covers multiple CNS products, requires collaboration with regional leadership, and includes training, data collection, and potential participation in trials to support real-world insights

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master’s with psychiatry/CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems and patient care delivery with HCP engagement.
• Strong business acumen; knowledge of industry dynamics and value proposition.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and scientific information about CNS diseases to KIs, LPLs, providers and patient groups.
• Contribute to ecosystem medical strategies and regional business plans.
• Engage in real-world evidence discussions and facilitate clinical trial feedback.
• Deliver medical training for promotional and disease-state speakers.
• Collaborate across matrix teams to align enterprise medical strategies.
• Support speaker bureau activities and disseminate disease-state knowledge locally.
