Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (CNS) to engage Key Influencers, Local Practice Leaders and healthcare providers within a CNS ecosystem.

This field-based role delivers clinical and health economic information to improve patient outcomes and aligns local strategies with the company’s patient-centric priorities. The MSL will cover multiple CNS products, support education, trials and real-world evidence, and travel as needed to support the ecosystem strategy

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master’s with CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical medical affairs or related work.
• Understanding of health systems and patient care delivery.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of market dynamics.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead teams and strategic initiatives.
• Knowledge of regulatory, legal and compliance landscape.

Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans.
• Build external relationships with scientific and medical stakeholders.
• Develop deep ecosystem knowledge to align with patient-centric strategy.
• Provide evidence-based information on clinical, economic and humanistic value.
• Partner with regional leadership to shape local medical strategies.
• Disseminate disease state and healthcare landscape information.
• Train speakers and support education across the territory.
• Collaborate on clinical trials and real-world evidence activities.
• Mentor peers and support safety/pharmacovigilance as needed.
