Job summary

The University of Rochester in Brighton, NY seeks a Physician Support Representative III to join the Pediatric Allergy/Immunology team. You will triage calls, schedule patient visits, obtain medical information, and document accurately in the EMR and OnBase systems.

You’ll coordinate referrals and support a busy multi-physician clinic with a strong emphasis on patient care and teamwork. As part of the 4–5 staff group, you’ll assist with administrative duties, clinic prep, and follow-up

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience using appointment scheduling software (Epic) preferred.
• Strong communication skills and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls, schedule patient appointments, and document in EMR.
• Coordinate referrals and manage patient information for ambulatory visits.
• Serve as office expert for Allergy/Immunology & Rheumatology.
• Support providers and staff with administrative tasks.
• Handle check-in/check-out duties and prepare clinic paperwork.
