Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a scheduling and registration specialist for the CDDC clinic. You will verify eligibility, schedule and register patients, enter charges, obtain benefit information, and generate letters for authorizations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year recent experience registering patients in a hospital or clinic or working as a Medical Assistant or in medical billing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• General knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes
• Demonstrated experience using MS Office
• Must be able to travel to off site physician practices

Responsibilities
