Tenet Healthcare’s Conifer Health is seeking a Scheduling Specialist at Walker Medical Center in Alabama. The role handles scheduling complex diagnostic and surgical procedures, interviews physicians and patients, and explains hospital guidelines.

Shift: Monday–Friday 8:15 AM–4:45 PM, with coordination across departments for schedule changes. You will enter accurate clinical, demographic and financial data, provide prep instructions, and handle calls per scripting while ensuring timely

Competenze

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
2-5 years administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
3+ years in Patient Access/Scheduling preferred.
Some college coursework is preferred.

Mansioni

Obtain complete clinical, demographic and financial information during scheduling.
Enter data in scheduling system and provide prep instructions.
Coordinate communications with clinical areas to accommodate requests.
Answer calls per scripting and maintain customer service at all times.
Notify customer of physician order, pre-authorization and other financial clearance requirements.
Perform PASU/registration tasks when requested.
