The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs—Chalmers P. Wyle VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, OH—seeks a supervisor for the Medical Records Scanning Unit within HIMS/PBS.

You will manage staff handling scanning into the EMR and administrative files, ensuring secure, compliant record processing. Qualified candidates will demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at GS-5 level equivalence and proficiency in records management and supervisory duties.

Formación

• Specialized experience: 1 year at least, equivalent to GS-5, in records handling and scanning.
• Experience includes retrieving, tracking, scanning/importing, purging, and retiring records per policy.
• Experience supervising staff tasked with scanning documents into paper and electronic records.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise staff in the Medical Records Scanning Unit and related administrative documents.
• Oversee scanning of documents into the electronic medical record and paper records ensuring accuracy and compliance.
