Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a Supervisory Medical Records Technician (Coder) to oversee the clinical coding program, ensure proper code assignment, and supervise staff. The role supports facility-wide coding compliance and drives documentation accuracy.

The incumbent applies UHDDS definitions, coordinates with health administration, and leads training efforts to maintain high coding quality and compliance. Telework may be allowed per agency policy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology and disease processes.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating programs.
• Ability to select and assign codes from ICD, CPT and HCPCS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Clinical Coding Program and staff performance.
• Coordinate DRG/APC classifications and other coding systems.
• Train, evaluate, and assign duties to subordinate staff.
