Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a Coding Supervisor to oversee the coding team's daily operations, ensure accurate coding, and collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Compliance to optimize reimbursement.

The role requires at least 5 years in medical coding with 2 years in supervision, CPC/AHIMA credentials, and the ability to lead training, audits, and process improvements in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years medical coding experience with 2+ years in a supervisory/lead role.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS and FQHC billing practices.
• Experience with audits, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coding staff performance, accuracy, and productivity.
• Lead audits and ensure documentation and billing compliance.
• Develop training programs and coach coders based on results.
• Support complex coding scenarios and issue escalation.
• Communicate updates between staff, providers, and compliance teams.
