Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks a Medical Records Technician to serve as an inpatient/outpatient records coder. You will assign codes, sequence diagnoses and procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory and third-party insurance requirements using ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT, and HCPCS LEVEL II coding books.

You will also perform data checks for completeness and accuracy, and coordinate research to correct discrepancies while compiling data into reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT and HCPCS LEVEL II coding books.
• Ability to perform quantitative analysis and ensure completeness and accuracy of records.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical record coding.
