Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Certified Medical Physicist to lead treatment planning, QA, and radiation safety in a dynamic Radiation Oncology team in Las Vegas. You will oversee calibration, brachytherapy, and collaboration with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, handling regulatory compliance, and adopting new technologies to improve outcomes. The schedule runs Monday–Friday with consistent hours.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution.
• Certification by ABR/ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or Canadian College of Medical Physics.
• Licensure in the state of practice as required.
• Colorado locations may require RAM/QI/QE(t).

Responsibilities

• Design, calibrate, and optimize radiation treatment plans to ensure precise patient care.
• Provide expert clinical guidance for radiation therapy procedures and delivery.
• Lead quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance in radiation oncology.
• Collaborate with Radiation Safety Officer to maintain safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Promote department innovations and continuous improvement across services.
