Job summary

Intermountain Health in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Certified Medical Physicist to design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans, ensuring accurate, safe patient care. You will lead QA programs and provide expert guidance in planning, dosimetry, and safety while collaborating with physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and clinical leaders.

Under the Chief Physicist, you will drive regulatory compliance, adopt new technologies, calibrate equipment, and support quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Certification by ABR or ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or CCM.
• Licensure in the state of practice as required.
• Colorado sites require RAM/QI/QE(t).

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans to ensure precise and effective patient care.
• Provide expert technical guidance for radiation therapy procedures, technologies, and treatment delivery.
• Coordinate with Radiation Oncology leadership and clinical teams to maintain quality management and QA programs.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Safety Officer to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold radiation safety standards.
• Support implementation of new technologies and processes to improve patient outcomes.
• Promote teamwork, excellence, and continuous learning within Radiation Oncology.
