Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Certified Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team in Las Vegas, NV. You will design, optimize, and evaluate treatment plans, lead QA programs, and ensure radiation safety and regulatory compliance while collaborating with physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and leaders.

This role emphasizes clinical service, adoption of advanced technologies, and a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution
• Certification by ABR/ABMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or CCM
• Licensure in the state of practice as required
• Colorado sites require RMP/QI/QE(t) per policy

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans.
• Provide expert clinical guidance for radiation therapy procedures and delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive QA and quality management programs in the department.
• Coordinate with RSO to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Support adoption of new technologies and treatment techniques.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous learning within Radiation Oncology.
