Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Senior I, to perform specimen processing and reporting under CLIA, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The role includes supervision of daily operations and coordinating quality control with the Technical Director and lab team.

The position requires 3–5 years of lab experience, a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field, and preferred ASCP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences.
• ASCP certification preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of laboratory experience required.
• Strong analytical, attention to detail and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen processing and test performance under CLIA guidelines.
• Maintain records and quality control activities.
• Supervise workstations and provide training to staff.
