Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist II to perform CLIA-testing, ensuring accurate results used by providers for diagnosis and therapy. Under supervision, responsibilities include supervising daily lab operations, QC review, training, competency assessment, and inventory control.

A Bachelor's in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences and ASCP certification are required, with 2 years' lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences required.
• Experience in lieu of degree not accepted.
• ASCP certification (MLT/MT/MLA/Histologists) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived and non-waived testing per SOPs.
• Supervise day-to-day lab operations and personnel as General Supervisor.
• Train staff, assess competency, and manage inventory.
• Maintain accuracy of test results and records for patient diagnosis.
