• Current and valid state license if required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of the section(s) as Section Supervisor or Lead.
• Provide consultative services to medical staff as Technical Consultant.
• Oversee quality management/assurance programs and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assess staff competency and complete evaluations; ensure accuracy of patient results before reporting.
• Maintain and update laboratory policies and procedure manuals; monitor proficiency testing procedures.
