Job summary

The Illinois College of Osteopathic Medicine at The Chicago School seeks a Senior Admissions Representative for Medical Education to recruit and review candidates, manage applications, and support retention to ensure matriculation.

You will collaborate with the Senior Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions, and the broader admissions team to engage prospects, applicants, and accepted students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years in admissions or student services.
• Strong public speaking and interviewing skills for engaging with applicants and faculty.
• Ability to work in a team and drive performance.
• Experience with CRM or applicant tracking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate candidate applications in the centralized system.
• Respond promptly to new student inquiries and maintain communication with prospective students.
• Represent the university in consultations with prospective and accepted students.
• Manage AACOMAS and Salesforce databases with accurate documentation and follow-ups.
• Promote Illinois COM at recruitment events and pre-health fairs.
• Build relationships with pre-professional advisors nationwide.
• Maintain confidential student information per FERPA.
• Mentor Admissions Coordinators and perform other duties as assigned.
