Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare, LP is seeking a Coding Analyst to review and code provider documentation for accurate reimbursement. You will support pre-bill edits, denials, and AR management while ensuring compliance with payor policies and regulatory guidelines.

The role involves partnering with clinicians and revenue staff to educate on proper coding and to improve revenue integrity across our OB/GYN practices. Strong communication and analytic skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a biller, coder, or back-office support staff in medical billing.
• OB/GYN experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of auditing concepts and principles.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level review of billing performance to ensure compliance and optimal reimbursements.
• Audit medical record documentation to identify under-coded and over-coded services; educate providers.
• Interact with physicians and staff regarding billing policies and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Manager to address issues and improve processes.
• Review AR management, payor policies and denials; support training for staff.
