• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of relevant coding experience required.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.

• Analyze clinical documentation for coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
• Identify documentation gaps and determine need for provider clarification.
• Apply coding modifiers and navigate NCCI edits and payer-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians and revenue cycle teams to educate and improve coding practices.
• Monitor coding quality trends and participate in process improvement.
