City of Hope is seeking a Senior Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support patient care in our oncology clinic. The CMA/RMA provides clinical and administrative support under supervision of Practice Manager or physician team, delivering an exceptional patient experience.

The role requires CMA/RMA certification, 5+ years of MA or nursing assistant experience in hospital/clinic, and completion of approved training. BLS and CMA/RMA certifications are required to ensure high-quality care.

Competenze

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of an approved CMA training program.
CMA/RMA or equivalent certification required.
Completion of US Armed Forces medical services training.
Completion of another relevant clinical training program.

Mansioni

Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures.
Record intake, vital signs, and other clinical duties within scope.
Triage telephone calls and relay information appropriately.
Coordinate communication between patients, caregivers, physicians, care managers, and clinical departments.
Maintain accurate documentation and support care coordination activities.
Order and maintain clinical and office supplies.
Provide clerical and administrative support to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
