Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred technical degree or diploma in Medical Assistant.
• 3–5 years of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively assists patients during visits and accompanies them to exam rooms.
• Performs clerical tasks related to patient care: scheduling, lab calls, prior authorizations, histories, forms, calls.
• Collects and records vital signs and patient history data.
• Assists with exam preparations and procedures as directed.
• Performs EKGs, dressings, and specimen collection for labs.
