Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Proactively assists patients during visits and accompanies them to exam/procedure rooms.
• Performs clerical tasks related to patient care (scheduling, lab calls, prior authorizations, paperwork, phone calls).
• Records patient data including height, weight, vital signs, medical history and allergies.
• Assists with physical exams, EKGs, sutures/staples and wound dressings as directed.
• Administers medications and immunizations under physician direction; may refill prescriptions and advise pharmacies.
