Job summary

The Sr. MA demonstrates strong communication, clinical quality, and teamwork, ensuring patient-centered, safe care within CLIA, HIPAA, and NCQA frameworks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education may be considered.
• Five years medical assistant experience in complex, chronic disease management or specialty.
• Certified Medical Assistant and BLS certification required; CPT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with examinations, procedures, diagnostics, and dressing changes under supervision.
• Maintain EMR documentation, ensure patient safety, and coordinate care.
• Schedule visits, verify eligibility, and support preceptor/clinical resource roles.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to optimize patient outcomes.
