Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient flow and care delivery across the clinic, acting as a primary trainer and collaborating with leadership to implement process improvements.

The role requires completion of an accredited MA program (ABHES/CAAHEP) or equivalent, WA MA certification, and current BLS. Experience with EMR is essential; 40 hours/week, 1.0 FTE.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of a medical assistant program offered by ABHES/CAAHEP accredited school; or Military Training/experience may satisfy.
• 3 years of relevant work experience
• Certified Medical Assistant in WA and familiar with WA conduct/standards
• Current Surgical Technologist Registration in WA within 30 days of hire (location dependent)
• Current BLS HCP card (or equivalent) renewed every 2 years

• Act as a primary preceptor/trainer.
• Collaborate with clinic leadership to develop operational strategies and process improvement efforts.
• Assist nurse or provider with procedures as indicated by role.
• Facilitate training of new hires and other training initiatives
