Job description

Regions Hospital is seeking a Sr. Medical Assistant to support our Oncology Infusion department in a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8 am-5:00 pm.

In this role, you will perform duties related to patient diagnosis and treatment based on the age-specific needs of adolescents and the patient population served. You will assist doctors and nurses in a clinical setting, coordinate clinic-specific functions, monitor and order supplies, act as a backup for front/back desk areas, work with computer software and databases, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Mon-Fri
0800-1700

Required Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
• Six months experience in a specialty area such as Oncology or Medicine.
