Job description

Regions is seeking a Sr. Medical Assistant with knowledge of basic patient care and routine medical, physical, and developmental tests to join our Woodbury Clinic team.

In this position, you will perform designated duties related to patient diagnosis and treatment based on the age-specific needs of the adolescent and patient population served. You will assist doctors and nurses in a clinic setting in providing general health care, coordinate clinic-specific functions, monitor and order supplies, act as a backup for the front/back desk area, work with computer software databases, and perform related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

Clinic/Infusion hours: 0730-1700

Required Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent and successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
• Six months experience in a specialty area (e.g., Oncology, Medicine).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of medical assistant experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
