Publicis Media in New York is seeking a capable Media Planning Manager to lead strategic media initiatives for a major client. You will oversee the development of media plans, budgets, and timing, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership: mentoring a small team of assistants and supervisors, presenting to clients, and optimizing the mix of offline and online channels to reach target audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of media planning experience with 3+ years in management.
• Offline and Online media experience; strong working knowledge of National and Local Media.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proven client presentation skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Oversee media strategy and plan development and budget.
• Managing the process and procedure for client set up, billing and all administrative functions.
• Evaluating, identify and sizing media target based on client brief.
• Responsible for developing and executing strategy for the functional area.
• Evaluating composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audience.
• Presenting recommendations to account service and clients.
• Maintaining strong relationship with key clients.
• Supervising, training and developing skills of Assistants and Supervisors by managing workload, delegating responsibilities and checking work for accuracy.
