Job summary

AWS is seeking an Enterprise Account Engineer focused on media delivery to optimize and secure streaming workloads for large video customers. You will guide architectural and operational best practices, partnering with customers’ engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable live events.

The role emphasizes deep technical knowledge of media workflows, cross-service collaboration, and proactive customer guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
• 5+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for high-value media workflows during live event delivery.
• Work across AWS video origination and delivery services to deliver well-architected solutions and high-quality content delivery.
• Interface with customer PMs and technical owners to understand requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define customer technical requirements.
• Collaborate with CloudFront and Edge Security teams on customer initiatives.
• Oversee media delivery by monitoring customer and service metrics.
• Identify and resolve complex video delivery performance problems.
• Own customer-facing and internal communications during incidents.
• Work independently with customer engineering and operations teams.
• Build training materials, runbooks, and operational plans for the expanding team.
