Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to lead shift operations, troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, and mentor technicians in a highly automated facility.

You will support maintenance and operation of critical building systems, interface with automation support teams, and uphold safety, quality, and uptime standards while driving continuous improvement and efficient asset management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with MHE safety standards.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical principles.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
• Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
