Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead a team in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for complex problems and manage projects, while training and mentoring technicians.

You will help maintain conveyors, read blueprints, and oversee preventive maintenance, with a focus on safety and communication across the facility. This role requires leadership and technical expertise in mechatronics and robotics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years with material handling equipment (MHE) like conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years with CMMS.
• 2+ years with PLC programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors; install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors.
• Monitoring: Create, assign, and close work orders with data on labor, equipment maintenance, parts.
• Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance; mentor junior technicians.
• Communication: Maintain positive relationships across Operations facility.
