Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will guide service technicians and contractors, design solutions for tough problems, and mentor junior staff to improve skills and reliability.

This role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and hands-on troubleshooting of conveyors, PLCs, sensors, and control components to maximize uptime and efficiency

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years CMMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems; install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators.
• Create, assign, and close out work orders with data on labor hours, maintenance, and parts.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures; mentor junior technicians.
