Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and mentor technicians while ensuring safety and reliability of MHE systems.

You will oversee relay logic, ladder diagrams, sensors, and control components, lead a team, create work plans, and support continuous improvement within the Operations Maintenance group on site in Sioux Falls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of maintenance, MHE, or related equipment experience.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 4+ years electrical/electronic principles and safety standards.
• 4+ years troubleshooting MHE and related equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of service technicians and coordinate repairs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, sensors, and controls.
• Develop training plans and oversee vendor repairs.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours and parts used.
• Develop job plans for emergency repairs of critical assets.
