Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team across material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles.

The role involves safe work practices, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced environment. Shift flexibility is noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, holidays.
• 2+ years of automated conveyor systems and controls experience or Amazon Apprenticeship certification.
• 2+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• 2+ years of reading electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of safety standards experience.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting MHE.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance with documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE (belts, motors, sensors, relays).
• Maintain positive relationships across Amazon Operations facilities.
• Move up to 49 lbs and work shifts up to 12 hours; climb ladders and bend/reach as required.
