Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.

You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles; you must be able to move up to 49 lbs, stand for shifts up to 12 hours, climb ladders, and bend, lift, stretch, and reach as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility
• Move up to 49lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching
