Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in West Chicago, IL to lead service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions, manage projects, and train junior staff.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) and conveyors.
• 4+ years of preventative maintenance experience.
• Reading blueprints and schematics proficiently.
• 3+ years using CMMS systems.
• 2+ years of PLC programming experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyors and related control components.
• Create, assign, and close work orders with labor, equipment, and parts data.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.
