Job summary

C&W Services is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead and mentor a team of technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for complex issues, manage projects, and help advance team capabilities.

The role requires hands-on experience with conveyors, relays, PLCs, and CMMS, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and proactive maintenance across a busy facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years reading blueprints and schematics.
• 3+ years experience with CMMS.
• 2+ years experience with PLC programs.
• Experience leading and mentoring technicians.
• Vendor management experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging equipment.
• Design solutions for difficult problems and manage projects.
• Create and close out work orders with labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
• Audit preventative maintenance procedures and mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain safe working environment by following safety procedures.
