Job summary

Hunter Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Automation Maintenance Technician III to perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on molding and production equipment in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role requires a strong background in automation maintenance, ladder logic, PLC programming, and the ability to train teammates. The position may include overtime and varying hours, with competitive hourly pay and a robust benefits culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automation Maintenance/Electromechanical Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to molding/production machines and related equipment.
• Performs machine start-up, setup, and changeovers; resupplies equipment with wire, grease, silicone, labels, and tapes.
• Moves machines and installs redesigned parts and systems to molding and assembly machines.
• Documents equipment repairs and maintenance using correct documentation procedures.
• Trains other technicians in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Coordinates and prioritizes maintenance activities; communicates with production teams.
