Job summary

Hunter Industries is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician II to perform diagnoses, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on molding/production machines and related equipment. You will start up, set up, and changeover equipment, resupply with necessary materials, and document all maintenance actions.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years in automation maintenance, with strong mechanical skills and the ability to interpret schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of automation maintenance experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs machine start-up, setup, and changeovers.
• Works with Production team members to ensure equipment maintenance satisfaction.
• Documents equipment repairs and maintenance using proper documentation.
• Assists in developing maintenance procedures for molding and assembly machines.
• Suggests improvements for equipment performance.
• Pursues skill development through apprenticeship and training.
• May work overtime or varying hours.
• Support basic vision and motor controls.
