The position requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance, willingness to work various shifts, and a 9/80 schedule. A strong background in mechanical assembly and precision tooling is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to work any shift and cover extended weeks as needed.
• Hands-on knowledge with hand tools and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist mechanical engineers in development, assembly and integration of space vehicle components and systems.
• Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components; participate in sub-system and system test methodology.
• Set up and test prototype and flight units and sub-assemblies under operational conditions.
