Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or greater is required.
• 8+ years' work experience including 3+ years in a critical facility operation (data center or hospital).
• Must pass the NITC Journey Level HVAC exam within the first year of employment.
• Must possess an EPA 608 Certification.
• Applicant may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility including U.S. Citizenship for access to classified information; ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with chillers >300 tons, boilers, or significant mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex mechanical systems in data centers, hospitals, and manufacturing plants.
• Operate, maintain, and repair HVAC systems: chillers, boilers, CRAC/CRAH, and air handling units.
• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems: pumps, valves, piping.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems in mechanical equipment.
• Monitor and control environmental systems via BMS platforms like Niagara Tridium, Siemens, or Johnson Controls.
• Read and interpret mechanical, plumbing, and electrical diagrams for maintenance and repairs.
• Use CMMS to track and document work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities.
