RTX is seeking a Senior Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to support the MSEN organization, planning and executing design tasks, communicating risks, and mentoring junior team members. The role involves designing bearing compartments, rotors, and externals, with CAD proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to lead multiple tasks while coordinating with SIPT/CIPT

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of mechanical design experience, or advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
• Experience delivering successful mechanical design projects.

Mansioni

• Execute independent design subtasks for SME review and guidance to engineers.
• Define schedules, risks, and opportunities for design tasks and drive to closure.
• Support engine builds, teardowns, and MRO sites; communicate handoffs clearly.
