Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Customer Support Engineer - Mechanical Systems & Externals to support our Customer Service Technical organization. You will act as a trusted technical partner to airlines and MROs, solving in-service challenges and translating engineering knowledge into practical solutions that keep engines operating safely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years of relevant experience, orAdvanced Degree with 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely resolution of in-service engine events and hardware issues with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with design, quality, manufacturing and customer-facing groups to identify root causes.
• Develop technical data and maintenance documentation (EM/AMM) and ensure it meets requirements.
• Interface with airlines, MROs and internal engineering to guide hardware design and maintenance.
• Collaborate to close technical actions within established timelines.
