Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Structures Engineer to support the MSEN team in ensuring durability and structural integrity of next-generation military propulsion systems. You will perform structural analysis on components such as bearing compartments, gearboxes, lube pumps, and mounts throughout the engine development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years.
• Experience in structural analysis and aerospace propulsion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis across all phases of product life cycle from design to service.
• Evaluate MSEN component health during engine validation testing and data reduction.
• Use FEA and hand calculations to assess strength, deflection, and fatigue life.
• Present analysis results to PW management and external customers.
• Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
