Zusammenfassung

RTX is seeking a P2 Mechanical Engineer to support military exhaust system hardware. You will lead cross-functional investigations, evaluate nonconforming hardware, and drive corrective actions to improve production capability and field readiness.

Based onsite in East Hartford, CT, you will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and robust producibility, while documenting lessons learned and standardizing processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Experience with hardware evaluation and manufacturability.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate and disposition nonconforming military exhaust system hardware.
• Lead cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and engineering.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Create and revise engineering drawings to align with manufacturing capability.
• Standardize processes to reduce repeat nonconformances.
• Document lessons learned and communicate findings across teams.
• Track improvement initiatives to strengthen ESTO processes.
