Job summary

ManpowerGroup seeks a Maintenance Technician - Automation Systems in Windsor, CT to lead automation-focused maintenance and troubleshooting efforts for packaging and distribution lines. The role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration with the Operations Maintenance team.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic PC skills, and flexibility for shift work including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
At least 1 year of experience with PC competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Physical ability to move up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks during long shifts.
Willingness to travel up to 20% as required.

Responsibilities

Lead service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
Support the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects.
Train, mentor, and develop service and contract technicians to enhance team capabilities.
Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and standards.
Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, including electrical and control components, to ensure optimal operation.
