Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead HVAC, plumbing, and related systems design from concept to construction. You will coordinate with engineers, architects, and construction managers to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

You will manage scopes, budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary coordination while maintaining compliance with codes and client requirements. The role supports flexible work arrangements within the domestic U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.
• PE license is required.
• Experience with commercial design projects (retail, restaurants, grocery, financial, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and client contacts.
• Prepare proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants.
• Oversee project planning, staffing, budgets, and schedules.
• Provide guidance on constructability and code compliance.
• Monitor profitability, cash flow, and project metrics.
• Lead internal and external teams through all project phases.
• Review documents for quality assurance and control.
• Identify risks and proactive resolution opportunities.
• Mentor Project Engineers and Engineering Designers.
